Stargate is a 36ft sailing ketch build in 1975.  She was purpose-bult to circumnavite planet Eearth, which she has accoumplished. Also, she crossed the Atlantic twice.  It’s 02-22-2026 and I slept my first night on November 20th for one I expected would be a one-week fit out.  It’s finally done but I’m in Houston for a civil trial.

I have yet to raise the sails!  I’m stayng at a hotel on the Galveston seawall so I can gaze out at the ocean and visualized me coming home with Stargate.

She sleeps five but the 1/4 berth is filled with four extra sails.

We’re documented the voyage with video. First video will be a tour. February 27th depart. $25,000 in expenses and repairs! Lots of new equipment such as the autopilot, 3 new batteries and quite a few electrical fixes.–Swami Dave
